We only collect the information necessary to operate effectively in our VA. 2. Data Usage: We use your personal data to: Facilitate your participation in our community and operations; Personalize your experience on NewSky; Share information about your online flight activities, such as departure, arrival, and route, along with the data recorded in the Newsky system. 3. Data Sharing: Online flight data, such as departure, arrival, and route, as well as information collected in the NewSky system, is shared on our website so that members can track and share their achievements. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent. 4. Privacy and Security: We are committed to keeping your personal data safe and protected against unauthorized access. Only authorized personnel have access to this data. 6. Our Organization Section 1.1 This organization is called "Romeu Virtual Airlines". Section 1.2 This organization has no affiliation with any real company or any affiliate. All flight and aeronautical information available to our members is for entertainment and simulation purposes only. For real-world flight operations, please consult the appropriate regulatory authorities. Section 1.3 Romeu Virtual Airlines is a non-profit organization. It shall not be operated for financial gain, and no service or item acquired for the group shall be used for personal or commercial purposes. Section 1.4 The main purpose of this organization is social in nature. Our goal is to bring together aviation enthusiasts who enjoy enhancing their flight simulation hobby through simulating Romeu Virtual Airlines operations. 2. Membership Section 2.1 Membership in Romeu Virtual Airlines is open to adults aged 18 and over, either by invitation or by registration. Section 2.2 Membership is voluntary. Section 2.3 Membership is granted at the discretion of the Romeu Virtual Airlines administration team. Section 2.4 All members must adhere to these statutes, as well as any rules, codes of conduct, or community guidelines published on Romeu Virtual Airlines websites, chat servers, forums, etc. Section 2.5 All members must also adhere to any rules, codes of conduct, and community guidelines published on IVAO & VATSIM websites, chat servers, forums, etc. Section 2.6 Additionally, members are expected to follow rules, codes of conduct, and community guidelines published on VATSIM, IVAO, and PilotEdge websites, chat servers, forums, etc. Section 2.7 Violation of any of the above conditions may result in immediate termination of membership at the discretion of the administration team. Section 2.9 New members must file one (1) PIREP within their first ten (10) days after registration. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in deactivation of the user's account, but not its removal. Section 2.10 If removed according to Section 2.8 or 2.9, you may reapply in the future by requesting reactivation of your account. Contact the administration team via email or direct message on Discord to request reactivation. Do not create a new account, as the old account has not been deleted. 3. Administration Team Section 3.1 The Romeu Virtual Airlines administration team includes Matheus Kiev, Heitor Gomes, Victor Silva, and Renan Monteiro. Section 3.2 The administration team will share responsibilities for managing the organization and its financial obligations as equitably as possible. Section 3.3 All Romeu Virtual Airlines websites and associations are currently owned and operated by Matheus Kiev. In case of his departure from the organization, he will be responsible for migrating these accounts to another member of the administration team. Section 3.4 The functions of the administration team are ad hoc and internally coordinated, with no specific roles defined. Section 3.5 The administration team has the final say on all operational matters within the organization, except when limited by external requirements from the organizations listed in Sections 2.05 and 2.06. Section 3.6 Decisions within the administration team are ideally made by unanimous consensus. In case of disagreement on a decision that cannot be resolved, each team member will have one vote on the matter, and the majority opinion will prevail. Section 3.7 Each administration team member may individually enforce our statutes and community guidelines on any Romeu Virtual Airlines website, chat server, forum, etc., including the exclusion of offending members. Section 3.8 When necessary, the administration team may delegate specific tasks to certain members as needed. These roles will be documented as necessary. (a) The following individuals have been designated as members of the Romeu Virtual Airlines "Staff Team": Matheus Kiev, Heitor Gomes, Victor Silva, and Renan Monteiro. (b) The following individual has been designated as the Romeu Virtual Airlines "Events Coordinator": Vacant. (c) The following individuals have been designated as the flight instructor and airline coordinator of Romeu Virtual Airlines: Victor Silva and Heitor Gomes. Section 3.9 Filling any vacancy on the administration team will be at the sole discretion of the current administration team. 4. Privacy Section 4.1 NewSky retains personally identifiable information (PII) from users at the time of account registration. This information is stored in Newsky databases, to which Romeu Virtual Airlines has limited access. Section 4.2 Refer to Newsky's privacy policy (https://newsky.app/legal) for more information on the collection, use, and removal of your information. Section 4.3 NewSky acts as the data controller for data entered into Newsky's systems, while Romeu Virtual Airlines acts as the data processor. Code of Conduct for Romeu Virtual Airlines Preamble Romeu Virtual Airlines is a community dedicated to simulating air operations that replicate the procedures of Romeu Virtual Airlines. Our community values realism, professionalism, and mutual respect. This Code of Conduct establishes the guidelines and expectations for all Romeu Virtual Airlines members, with the aim of maintaining a pleasant and respectful flight simulation environment for everyone. 1. Respect and Behavior 1.1. Mutual Respect: All members must treat each other with respect, courtesy, and consideration. Discrimination, offensive language, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. 1.2. Ethical Behavior: Romeu Virtual Airlines members commit to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions and decisions. This includes acting with honesty, integrity, and accountability. 2. Flight Simulation 2.1. Realism: We commit to maintaining a high level of realism in our flight simulations, following Romeu Virtual Airlines procedures and standards whenever possible. 2.2. Training: We encourage continuous learning and training. Experienced members should be willing to help and guide new members. 3. Use of Resources and Information 3.1. Intellectual Property: We respect the copyrights and intellectual property of third parties. We will not distribute copyrighted content without permission. 3.2. Privacy: We respect members' privacy and will not share personal information without consent. 4. Communication 4.1. Effective Communication: We will use clear and effective communication in our interactions within the community. This includes the appropriate use of communication channels, such as forums, chats, and messages. 4.2. Mentoring and Support: We encourage members to seek guidance and support whenever necessary. Helping other members learn and grow is essential to our community. 5. Compliance with the Code of Conduct 5.1. Reporting Violations: If a member witnesses or experiences a violation of this Code of Conduct, they must report the incident to the Romeu Virtual Airlines administration.
